Funded Car Chargers in Schools

Did you know that state funded schools and education institutions can receive a grant for installing electric vehicle chargers? There is only a limited time remaining take advantage of this, with applications only being accepted until 31st March 2026.

How much is the grant?

The grant is for 75% off the cost to buy and install electric vehicle chargers, up to a maximum of £2,500 per socket. There is a limit of 40 sockets across all sites. This includes any applications made previously through the government’s Workplace Charging Scheme.

How it works

  • Your school or education institution must meet government criteria.

  • Contact us if you need help determining where your sockets can go.

  • If you believe you are eligible, you must then apply for your voucher code.

  • Once you have obtained your code, contact us to arrange installation.

  • Once work is finished, we will complete all relevant grant paperwork on your behalf.

  • Following this you will be reimbursed up to 75% of the cost.
